Rah-E-Amal school is a project of Rah-E-Amal Welfare Trust founded in 1998. It is providing education with major emphasis on character building. The school exclusively carers to the needs of severely deprived children. It provides totally free education including text book, note books, school supplies and consumables and also provides food ration to the needy students. This encourages the parents to let the kids get an education and not employ them at menial jobs to make their ends meets. The school is funded through continued community donations and Rotary Club of Rawalpindi, Pakistan.
I went to the Rah-E-Amal school to spend time with the children and donated juice boxes to all of the kids. Rah-E-Amal currently is home to almost 200 children.
